Date for the Diary

Coca Cola Canning Factory. Richard Garnett has provisionally arranged a date, Wednesday 15th September, combining the visit with a meal at the famous Wetherby Whaler at Wakefield. Full details nearer the event. It will be a great way to start the new rotary year

This hopefully is a good balance of service and fellowship, but as always it will only be successful if you, the members give your support.

Rough translation of the old proverb "the more you put in the more you get out

Fellowship Events:

1.) Ten Pin Bowling in March: David seeking a volunteer to organise this.

2.) Theatre Visit: Northern Broadside " Medea" Viaduct Theatre Visit 3rd March. In the absence of John W. David P has purchased and distributed tickets. If you are not booked to watch the play, why not join us for a glass of wine in the convivial atmosphere of the theatre bar after the performance, which finishes at approx 9-30pm. Another chance for rotary fellowship.

3.) Sunday Lunch and Afternoon Greyhound Race Meeting: Suggested we canvass members to see what interests there would be in doing this.

To finish the Rotary Year we will have a Crown Green Bowling Challenge
